Instant concrete form kits that are convenient and include everything needed for stair landing pads and tower foundations. Just add concrete.

Who It’s For

  • Maintenance & Facilities teams needing fast, compliant access without a civil crew
  • EPCs and project managers speccing landings for modular ErectaStep stairs and towers
  • Rooftop and remote-site installs where digging isn’t practical or permitted
  • Safety leaders upgrading temporary or non-compliant stair setups to OSHA standards

Why Choose the ErectaStep Form Kit

  • Faster than site-built forms. No lumber, no custom carpentry, no rework.
  • Lower total cost. Skip excavation, dig permits, and shop-fabricated pads.
  • Rooftop-ready. Non-penetrating design protects membranes and warranties.
  • Engineered to match. Purpose-built for ErectaStep’s modular stair system — no shimming, no adapters.
  • Backed by a RAM. Your Regional Area Manager helps you spec the right kit, quantity, and configuration for the job.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ErectaStep Concrete Form Kit?

It’s a prefabricated, bolt-together form for pouring stair landing pads and tower foundations. Each kit ships flat with everything needed — including anchor bolts — so a crew can assemble the form, pour concrete, and be ready for stair installation the same day.

How long does it take to assemble?

Under 10 minutes with basic hand tools. The kit unboxes ready to place, level, and pour.

Do I need a permit or excavation?

No digging is required. Because the kit is surface-mounted and non-penetrating, most sites avoid dig permits entirely. Always confirm requirements with your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

Can I install the concrete form kits on a rooftop?

Yes. The zero-penetration design is rooftop-safe. Pair it with the optional rooftop tray (sold separately) to protect the roof membrane and warranty.

Is the Concrete Form Kit OSHA-compliant?

Yes. When installed per instructions, the pad meets OSHA structural stability requirements for stair landings. It’s engineered to support a 50 psf live load, 20 psf snow load, and wind up to 115 mph.

What stair heights and configurations does it support?

The finish height matches ErectaStep’s standard 9″ tread rise, and the kit is stable up to a 6-step ErectaStep configuration. For taller towers or custom builds, your Regional Area Manager (RAM) can confirm the right foundation solution.

How long before I can install the stairs after pouring?

Follow your concrete mix’s cure specification — typically 24–72 hours for foot traffic and 7 days for full design load. Your ready-mix supplier can confirm exact cure times for your climate and mix.

How fast can I get it? Is it in stock?

Yes. The Concrete Form Kit is manufactured in the United States, flat-packed, and stocked for immediate shipment. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.

Customer service was great. We now comply with fall protection requirements. It keeps our guys safe. While these systems are expensive, the benefit outweighs the initial cost. Customer service was great – I had the drawings and assembly instructions a week before the rack arrived. Ray Evans was extremely helpful. Keep up the good work, SafeRack

My rep, Brandon Harrison, was highly capable. My rep, Brandon Harrison, was highly capable. It was an unplanned replacement of an existing platform. Not matching the existing carriage system would prevent an easy replacement. Cost of the rack could have also prevented the purchase, but a good design gives a good final product that was easy to install and easy to use. The use of the unloading platform was not intuitive to some operators. I found it best to push the top step to start lowering the rack. Some operators just used the side handles with much more difficulty. A placard that says push here may be useful. Overall, I would recommend this product, it feels sturdy, has a good safety color pattern, and is easy to maneuver.

An absolute pleasure to work with. Linda Hardee is an absolute pleasure to work with as well as the other staff at SafeRack. Whether it was a warranty related issue or not, the parts, service and QC personnel have been very helpful and professional. When I have entered into discussions about trucker safety, I very confidently throw the name SafeRack around.
