This SafeRack project replaced existing gangways on inbound and outbound lanes at a sand mine in Caldwell Texas. The project included removing the old gangways and installing 18′ tracking gangways. SafeRack tracking gangways allows the operator to reposition carriages for inspecting multiple proppant boxes on a single load without requiring the driver to reposition the vehicle. This not only safer, but increases throughput. Gangways include safety cages customized for proppant box (frac sand) loading and inspection. The proppant box safety cages securely sit on sand containers eliminating gaps, preventing falls, and creating a safer environment for workers.

The project included YellowGate safety swing gates at the top of each platform, tracks for tracking gangways, and gangways with safety cages.
