The customized ErectaStep is for a California 3D printer manufacturer that produces 3D metal additive printers used in space travel, supersonic and hypersonic flight, renewable energy, and advanced power production. This tooling platform will eventually be installed around large equipment used in the manufacturing of their 3D printers and is customized powder-coated black to match the company’s aesthetics. This configuration also comes with a customized hatch in the platform giving access to the components of the printer for performing maintenance and cleaning.
