Truck Step Features

We manufacture three different styles of semi-trailer steps for 48″ tall trucks. The trailer steps are lightweight aluminum, so they can be easily moved when not in use.

SEMI Step Product Line up

The standard Upside SEMI Step is 4’ wide, allowing two-way foot traffic. Stairs are 40” high, so the last 8″ step up into the 48” trailer. The trailer steps can have either a single top step, a double top step, or a 48” x 57” platform.

Code Compliant
Our SEMI trailer steps are always OSHA-compliant. Heavy-duty railings on both sides ensure worker safety and stability while loading and unloading truck trailers.

Relocated and Reuse
While rigid and sturdy, Upside’s SEMI steps are lightweight, weighing approximately 100 lbs. They can be easily moved or lifted into trailers.

Quality Manufactured in the United States

100% Aluminum – Long Lasting
Our aluminum SEMI-step stairs will never rust, warp, or rot. They are low-maintenance and will last much longer than wood or steel.

Slip-Resistant Decking
SEMI step decking features an aggressive heavy-duty 3” channel grip strut grating that provides maximum, multi-directional slip resistance.

Installed as a walkover stile to get access to other side of site over cable tray ran on a sleeper I would recommend this solution, as lead time was non-existent and it solved an issue that wasn't thought to be an issue until the project was almost complete. Short lead time and easy to install.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I was very pleased with the service I received from Phyllis Sikes. She answered my questions right away, sending the proposal very fast and she called to double check if I received it. I was very impressed, and every time I call to inquire about a product or a proposal I will always ask for her .

My rep, Brandon Harrison, was highly capable. My rep, Brandon Harrison, was highly capable. It was an unplanned replacement of an existing platform. Not matching the existing carriage system would prevent an easy replacement. Cost of the rack could have also prevented the purchase, but a good design gives a good final product that was easy to install and easy to use. The use of the unloading platform was not intuitive to some operators. I found it best to push the top step to start lowering the rack. Some operators just used the side handles with much more difficulty. A placard that says push here may be useful. Overall, I would recommend this product, it feels sturdy, has a good safety color pattern, and is easy to maneuver.
