SavkoLock Mechanical Gangway Lockdown
A purpose-built feature that positively locks gangways in place, guaranteeing reliable protection and total confidence.
How SavkoLock Works
SavkoLock automatically locks down the gangway in the lowered (deployed) position. While the gangway is locked down, it cannot be lifted, shifted, or adjusted—keeping the safety cage securely in place over the vehicle and keeping the worker/operator from falling.
A foot pedal located on the platform side of the gangway releases the lock. Because the pedal is on the platform—not on the vehicle—a worker standing on top of the vehicle cannot unlock or move the gangway. The gangway stays locked until the worker has returned safely to the platform.
