No, the GXm does not require an overhaul of your current access infrastructure. SafeRack’s streamlined gangways can integrate seamlessly into your existing systems and include easy upgrade options for future improvements.
The GXm gangway can be customized to meet your specific facility’s requirements. SafeRack’s equipment utilizes a modular design, allowing for quick and easy modifications in the field.
SafeRack’s GXm can come in electric and pneumatic configurations. The electric power option is 120V and uses a single-phase, 20-amp circuit. Pneumatic gangways use clean, dry air at 80 psi, 30 scfm minimum. Both can include manual operation features to raise and lower during power loss.
Regular inspections are recommended for all our gangway systems. This includes checking pivot points, safety cages, and handrails. SafeRack offers preventative maintenance services to reduce the risk of catastrophic failures.

Track Mounted Gangways
Eliminate spotting issues or repositioning vehicles
Track-mounted gangways are designed to address variability in hatch spacing or to accommodate trucks with multiple hatches. These gangways slide horizontally, allowing operators to access multiple hatches efficiently from a single platform. They feature folding stairs with safety cages that can be positioned along a fixed track and support multiple workers simultaneously.

SavkoLock Mechanical Safety Lockdown
Engineered for the toughest conditions, even in the coldest environments
SavkoLock automatically locks your gangway in the lowered (deployed) position once it rests on the vehicle. While the gangway is locked down, it cannot be lifted, shifted, or adjusted—keeping the safety cage securely in place over the worker.
