GHS Pictogram Quiz

Globally Harmonized System

OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires the use of pictograms to alert users of the chemical hazards they may be exposed to. The pictogram is the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals standards. Fortunately, it’s known as GHS and consists of a symbol on a white background framed within a red border and represents a distinct hazard(s).

As part of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard program, employers must train workers on Chemical Safety Data Sheets and identifying the hazards illustrated in each pictogram.
